"OROBO" – The Inspiration Behind the Design
The word "OROBO" comes from my native dialect, where it affectionately describes a person with a big body. While the term is often playful, it carries a deeper cultural nuance — one of boldness, presence, and unapologetic confidence.
Inspired by this, I created a design that reclaims and celebrates the word. It’s not just about size — it’s about making space for self-love, body positivity, and embracing who you are without filters or fear.
Through this design, OROBO becomes more than just a word — it becomes a statement of pride, power, and identity.
OJUKOKO
In our culture, OJUKOKO is more than just a word — it’s a feeling. It describes a frowning face, one burdened by the weight of reality, trying to survive and stay hopeful in the middle of a harsh economy.
It’s the look of resilience. Of quiet endurance. Of someone who refuses to give up, even when everything says they should.
